Hi! My name is Shakeera, but you can call me Keera. I'm a 34-year-old Mother of 3, a devoted wife, and a lover of all things food and family. Although I’m mostly self-taught with many years of on-the-job training, I wouldn't be the culinary artist I am today without my good ol' lifelong mentors, my Mom, and my Great Grammy. You could say my cooking career started as a child. My earliest memories of my Grammy are helping her cook for almost anyone who needed a hot plate…. Family, friends, neighbors, and the homeless. She taught me how to give freely from the heart with no questions asked. Maybe a hug or a prayer. Then you have my mother. One of the greatest cooks I knew. She was the queen of slow-cooked food. The aroma of the house all day didn't compare to the actual love you could taste in her meals. Cooking is my passion. No fancy names. Just good love infused food is what I will provide.
